Lovely card Sue. Gorgeous
Congratulations to lucky Kim, enjoy.
Elaine, I hope they now take into account that Andrew needs the anti sickness pill, seems so unfair that he has to suffer before they do something. Poor Helen, just when she doesn't need more problems her back goes too. No wonder you are feeling the strain, pkease take care.
Saba, your cottage must be looking beautiful again, well done you.
Norah, you made me laugh, imagining their faces on the toon hall, thank you.
June, hope they get your meds sorted soon.
Dragonsnap your trip with the cars sounds very grand, enjoy when it comes.
Ladies, what us this tablet that Patricia makes, sounds delicious., is Patricia okay?
Maureen, hope your recovery is still on track, how is it going.
Donita enjoy your holiday, crafting heaven.
Thanks for the moral support everyone, my team mates are all shocked and angry but they know how it goes.
Have a great weekend everyone, missing some of our friends, Laine hope you are okay. Take care all poorly friends too.

Good morning Sue,

It is morning there and very early morning here (1: 20 am. I just posted the comment for yesterday card.).This is another beautiful card! Love the color combination. It's a lovely way to start the day or to end the day (I’ll go to bed soon)! I’ll watch the video later. I don't have any of these dies but you make me want them.

Kim Dibbe - Congratulations !

Have a great Saturday ladies!

Morning Sue. The weekend comes round so quickly and Kim will be thrilled it does - congratulations Kim enjoy your gift from Sue ☺
Another confession, this was just one of your Striplets I could never see in my collection - that is until you started to show us more samples, until John showed his take on it, and then the lovely cards on the lovely SWCE fb group (it's all down to me not having the vision others have) not being able to look at a die and seeing umpteen cards in my mind, but after looking at what you and other 'friendly crafters' have done with this simple but very effective die I had to buy it, I've not used it yet though so yet again you have prompted me to try and get it out of the packaging and USE it !! I have so many things I want to re-learn about your dies, get to know them better, I just need to find my enthusiasm again. So thank you for this reminder how lovely this die is with your gorgeous sample and for that I send my love n hugs, look forward to watching the video in a few minutes or so ☺ xxx

Oh and I keep meaning to say that before my crafting came to a sudden halt I was having a love affair with your crysanthemum, it's adorable the best yet in my opinion, so lovely to cut loads n loads and sit putting them together in lots of different ways whilst sitting in front of the tv, a floral die not to be ignored that's for certain ☺ xx

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, well what can I say but GORGEOUS, love it, that striplet is one of my favourites especially after seeing the video, your shows and John demoing it as well.

Congratulations to Kim Dibble, enjoy your prize

Pam I reiterate everything you have said, your such a star, try and have a stress free weekend, don't worry about work, special hugs to you xx

My TIP for today - I am doing some more tidying up of my craft room, well actually I purchased some magnetic sheets from a company (the name is the same as what the doctor would give you to perk you up ha ha!!), they are only £1 then I went to £1land and bought some A4 folders, the ones with the popper fasteners. I now have 64 of these in my filing draw all full up with dies, that is not counting the 25 storage folders of different types and sizes, each of these have a number on them and on my spreadsheet I put the corresponding number against each die set, I know then where they are.........what a sad person I am. Oh well off to finish some more of them.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Fabulous card using one of my favourite striplets. I think if I had to choose only one then that would be it but thank goodness I don't.
Congratulations to Kim. Enjoy your card.
Pam, hope it all works out for you at work. So many work places have this attitude these days and it just isn't fair. When I was working I used to have to do all the return to work interviews and we did have problems with people taking a day here and a day here and you just knew it wasn't genuine but they weren't quite so critical about long term sickness or where people had a lot of time off for a real reason. It isn't like you can do much about genuine sickness and they should understand that. It isn't like you want to be ill!

Holiday should be great but it will be hard work because we are leading our group so have to concentrate all the time and ensure everyone gets to where they should be. One of our trips is that we are going up 2502 metres in a cable car to a restaurant from where we'll be able to see three countries . We have dinner there and then return to the hotel. Should be great.

Thoughts and prayers to all. Crafty hugs,
D xx

Dear Sue and Crew,

What a cheerful card this is! Great way to start the weekend. I don't know why it's so satisfying to watch the video, but it always is. Probably because you've already worked out what size to cut, the right order to do things and what doesn't look as good as you initially planned. Everything goes together as if falling inevitably into place, and there's no visible bloodshed.

Unlike mine. I should learn to do my first draft with repositionable tape.

Congratulations to Kim!

Tonight, after covering Diane von Furstenberg speaking to about 700 already empowered women after dinner in a giant tent at Brown University, from which both her children graduated, I have begun my vacation. I'm going to make flowers and cards to put them on. I'm going to make at least one!

Enjoy the weekend, all you strong women. Diane von F said every woman is strong. She said the middle of life is when every woman should figure out what she wants to be mythical for, even if it's something as down-to-earth as making apricot jam. She is not the least bit snooty. And still striking at 70, at least from far away.

Love,
Donita

Good morning Sue. A gorgeous card using those dies. Thank you for the ideas you give us.
Congratulations to Kim, enjoy your card.

Patricia's tablet is a traditional sweet in Scotland. Main ingredients are condensed milk and sugar ( not good for the waist line) it's the colour of " fudge" but not soft like it. Hard to describe yet it's vey moorish! If you google "Scottish tablet" you will get the recipe. The secret is in the beating of it till it thickens. Patricia is ok her and I were out for morning coffee yesterday, which of course lasted till well after lunch so I think she will have been busy when she got home doing things.

Pam you need a few of these (((((( hugs)))))) I think. Thank you for your brilliant summery each day.

Good evening Sue and the Wilsonettes,
I like this shade of lilac and never get tired seeing it being used or using it myself as it is so pretty, not too dark. Along with the white of the daisies, the leaves and backings of the dies it lightens it up from the black of matt and and of the striplet. The striplet is growing on me slowly but surely flower that i can now see myself actually wanting to use it but i'm trying to convince my lovely Rory into telling his big sister what mum would actually like for her birthday and that being the double pierce squares, circles, background rectangles or essentials rectangles, but i think i'm going to have to drop a clanger for them to take notice.
Kim flower, you enjoy your Sue WOW beauty when it comes as i know i still love the one that i won a few years ago.
Oh the images that DragonSnaps vintage car rally makes me think of Genevieve, one of my favourite films of all times and lets face it the old film can be a whole lot better than some of the rubbish they are trying to force down our throats sometimes. With my dad being a car mechanic we used to go around various places to see the old cars and steam and traction engined classics of a time forgotten. Our favourite used to be the Doune Motor Museum in Perthshire before all those stunning classics got sold, some to George Knowles, the owner of Sterling Furniture showrooms across here at the hillfoots, but sadly no longer there either. My favourite car of all time was the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, (my brain had me destined for higher things obviously) and the car that made up Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I once seen it in stirling at the Argos end of the Thistle centre and my eyes could just drink in all that they seen, it was so beautiful. Oh the dreams that many a child would have of being in that flying car, ahhhhh. Enjoy your meet flower and oh how i wish i could be there too, but drive safe.
Elaine, i keep hoping that it will be today that your Andrew turns that finally corner and over the last hurdle, but that poor lad seems to be getting it on all sides at once. Sending my hugs to him and his Helen, but to you also as you are trying so hard to keep him upbeat and going, but it is an awful strain on a mother just watching her baby(sorry Andrew, but you will always be your mum's baby, it doesn't matter how old you get) go through what she can't imagine.
Sending hugs to all my lovely Wilsonette friends that need, could do with or jus want, they are yours for the taking
Love
Norah (Glenochil)

Hello Sue,
What a scrumptious card, your video was brilliant, I really enjoyed watching you assemble this card, it was especially useful to see how you achieved the two tone effect on your focal image. You are so confident adding your "fiddly bits". I faff about for ages and am never 100% happy. Yours loook just perfect. Thank you Sue.

Congratulations Kim, enjoy your card when it arrives, it was a beauty.
Pam I'm not surprised your colleagues are shocked, I think we all are too. Chin up.
June thanks for the tip. You're not sad, just super organised, you put me to shame!
Dragonsnap2 your trip sounds fantastic. Which 3 countries will you be able to see?
Donita, Diane von F sounds like an amazing woman, such an inspiration to all women.
"P" I am so very sorry, Saffron deserved a peaceful end to her life, she definitely had her day in the sun because she had you. Big hugs.
Lynne L - ouch! Hope it's not too sore.
Elaine thankyou, im certainly enjoying the comfort tonight and a big glass of the chilled white stuff just adds to the pleasure. Glad Andrew feels a bit better, hope both you and Helen soon feel better too.
Laine and P.P. Missing your company, hope you are soon back in full swing.
Sam, missed your full explanation today, hope you have a wonderful time on your " you know what".
Love and hugs for all
Saba.

Hi Sue. WOW !!! I really love todays card !!! It is absolutely gorgeous !!! Your video is fab as always to. I love your idea of putting the black center piece of card behind the Lucy die and then another colour behind that to. Such a simple, clever idea but as usual not an idea that my brain would have thought of !!! I love the Infinity striplet die which I bought recently but have not yet got around to using. Your colour combo is fab and I love your new Chrysanthemum flower dies to !!! I do not have your Jessica die ( I do hope I have the correct name.) I do, however, have your Molly die though so hopefully maybe I could use that one instead as I would like to have a go at making my own version of today's card. I am hoping to e-mail a couple of photos of stuff I have made recently from your dies. I am rubbish at technology so I need Steve to help me out with it !!! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous card and fab video today. Lots of love to you Sue from Tres x x x

Congratulations to today's very lucky Wednesday card winner love from Tres x x x

I love this card and all the layers. I think I need some of those florals and leaves to make my cards prettier.
